Job description
Lead a production team cutting, fitting and welding steel members.
Key responsibilities
- Assign work and follow the team’s output.
- Make sure members match the drawings and the schedule.
- Coach new workers and give daily safety briefings.
- Report output and consumables to the shop supervisor.
Requirements
- Experience as team leader in a mechanical or steel shop.
- Able to read shop drawings.
- Good team management skills.
- Vocational diploma or higher is a plus.
