Job description
Carry out non-destructive testing of welds in the fabrication shop.
Key responsibilities
- Test welds by ultrasonic, penetrant and magnetic particle methods.
- Record results and issue inspection reports.
- Look after and calibrate test equipment.
- Work with production to repair rejected welds.
Requirements
- Vocational diploma or higher in a technical field.
- Relevant NDT certificate.
- Careful and comfortable in a workshop.
- Able to read drawings is a plus.
